Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Huxi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Mcclaren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Huxi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Mcclaren!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcclaren fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Huxi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Mcclaren avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Huxi tries to land a front kick but Mcclaren steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Huxi tries a head kick but it misses.
Huxi throws a head kick but Mcclaren moves out of range.
Mcclaren shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Huxi sprawls well. Huxi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcclaren gets slowly back to his feet.
A combination from Huxi does no damage.
Huxi closes the distance and clinches up with Mcclaren, looking for a takedown. Huxi pushes Mcclaren against the cage but Mcclaren circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mcclaren shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Huxi as he avoids it easily.
Thomas Huxi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Mcclaren.
No joy there for Mcclaren, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Huxi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mcclaren.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huxi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mcclaren manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Huxi closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Mcclaren shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Huxi as he jumps to the side.
Huxi works over Mcclaren's head and body with a nice combination.
Huxi lands with a straight right. Mcclaren didn't see that one coming.
Huxi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcclaren swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A left lands for Huxi.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Huxi misses with a head kick.
Huxi moves out of range of the body kick.
Huxi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcclaren tries to avoid it but Huxi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcclaren to the ground. Mcclaren escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mcclaren throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Huxi or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcclaren which made him look bad.

Nice takedown defense from Huxi. No joy for Mcclaren on that attempt.
Mcclaren looks winded!
Huxi misses with a low kick as Mcclaren jumps back.
Huxi doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcclaren circles away.
Huxi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Mcclaren is looking to clinch.
Mcclaren misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Huxi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Huxi throws a shot to the body.
Mcclaren has his takedown stuffed
and Huxi counters with a two punch combo.
Mcclaren has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A nice inside leg kick there by Huxi. That's going to slow Mcclaren down.
Huxi misses with a head kick.
Mcclaren is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Huxi moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Huxi!
