Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wazza Rooney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Matsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rooney gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rooney pulls Matsui in to control the position.

Matsui thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Matsui is fighting to break Rooney's control of his arms but Rooney is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Matsui drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Matsui jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Matsui wants to take a breather but Rooney is having none of it.

Matsui wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rooney keeps working.
Rooney is looking to improve his position.
Rooney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Matsui on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matsui has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Matsui lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Matsui! Rooney is hurt baaadly! Matsui is firing away with more strikes - Rooney is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
