Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yossi Avitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barret The Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avitan's entrance music is Tagidi Li Masheu. A fine choice. The Turk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Turk misses the shot to the body.

The Turk fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Avitan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That kick from Avitan tenderised The Turk's leg. The Turk is trying to keep his angry face on.

Avitan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The Turk sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The Turk moves forwards but Avitan connects with a nice, crisp jab.

The Turk throws a lazy right hand but Avitan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Avitan throws a front kick that sends The Turk stumbling back into the cage.
Avitan throws a jab but it's blocked by The Turk.

It looks like Barret The Turk has been cut.
The Turk keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Avitan.

The crowd cheers as Avitan lands an impressive looking overhand right. The Turk doesn't seem phased though.
A looping hook to the body misses from Avitan. The Turk does a little dance to reset his feet.

The Turk shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Avitan ducks under a wild hook from The Turk.

Barret The Turk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Turk takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Avitan scores with a counter punch that sends The Turk to the canvas! Avitan smells blood - he's punishing The Turk with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! The Turk has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

A relieved looking Yossi Avitan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
