Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Brownson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brownson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brownson throws an off balance right hand
and Brownson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hill ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hill misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Hill, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hill goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hill jabs at Brownson's body.
Brownson misses with a few strikes there.
Horrible takedown by Brownson or perhaps it was just good defense by Hill which made him look bad.

Hill leaves Brownson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jordan Hill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Brownson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hill wants to get back to his feet.
Brownson just content to control the position.
Hill is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Brownson is controlling him well.

Brownson is staying tight to Hill's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brownson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
It looks like Brownson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Brownson swings for the body but Hill moves out of range.

Brownson shoots in but no luck this time.
Brownson is breathing heavily.
Brownson misses with a double jab
and Hill counters with a series of strikes. Brownson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brownson tries to clinch there but Hill circles away.

Hill misses with a few strikes there.
Hill misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brownson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hill counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Hill displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brownson.
Brownson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Brownson keeps the fight on the outside.

Brownson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Brownson throws a sloppy body shot
and Hill counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Brownson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hill.
Hill lands a really nice looking cross but Brownson seems unphased.
Hill catches Brownson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Brownson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hill sprawls well. Hill wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brownson gets slowly back to his feet.
Jordan Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Brownson.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hill uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brownson.
