The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krutcher is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Krutcher on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

A slapping leg kick lands for Rey.
Krutcher closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rey circles away.
Zachery Rey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rey lands an elbow inside that Krutcher shrugs off.
Rey on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Rey takes an elbow to the temple.
Krutcher is looking to break free of the clinch but Rey has double underhooks.

With the fighters up against the cage, Krutcher throws an elbow but misses.

The referee is keeping an eye on Rey - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Krutcher manages to break the clinch.

Krutcher shoots in for a double leg but Rey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Zachery Rey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Krutcher.
Rey throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rey throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Krutcher scores with a hook to the body. Rey takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Rey counters with a nice uppercut.
A head kick misses from Krutcher.
Rey throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Krutcher stumbling backwards into the cage! Krutcher bounces back off the cage towards Rey, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Rey lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Rey celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
