De Paiva Santos throws a leg kick
and Trendell counters with a three punch combo that has De Paiva Santos backing up. De Paiva Santos nods at Trendell to acknowledge the strikes.
Trendell cracks De Paiva Santos with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! De Paiva Santos looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Trendell finish him?
It looks like Alex De Paiva Santos has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
De Paiva Santos throws a body kick that misses.
Trendell lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as De Paiva Santos crumples to the floor! Trendell milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
