Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gray Elbe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Pelano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pelano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Wanna Be Somebody by WASP kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gray Elbe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hector Pelano!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elbe avoids a punch combination nicely.
Elbe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pelano to score with a decent uppercut.
Pelano throws a chopping leg kick but Elbe manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Elbe shoots for a double leg takedown but Pelano sprawls well. He's pushed Elbe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Elbe tries for a takedown but Pelano sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Elbe slips a jab and a cross from Pelano.
Pelano lands a left and a right that send Elbe crashing to the mat, dazed. Pelano thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Elbe is rocked!
It looks like Gray Elbe has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pelano steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Elbe is out on his feet! Pelano sets himself and nearly takes Elbe's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hector Pelano!
Hector Pelano was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
