Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andi Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andi Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiro Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nakamura shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nakamura's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nakamura throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease.
Lee throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lee scores with a shot to the body.
Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Nakamura is just out of range.
Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lee stuffs the takedown.
Lee scores with a hook to the body. Nakamura takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lee leaves Nakamura with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Andi Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiro Nakamura.
Nakamura tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes.

Nakamura takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nakamura closes the distance but Lee moves to the side
and Lee counters with a slapping leg kick.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nakamura moves away.
Nakamura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Lee counters with a nice leg kick.
Nakamura is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lee sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Nakamura throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
Lee looks to land a combination but Nakamura avoids it well.
Lee scores with a body shot.
Lee keeps the fight on the outside.
Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Nakamura is just out of range.

Nakamura shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lee sprawls well. Lee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nakamura gets slowly back to his feet.

Lee lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nakamura's sensitive parts.

Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.
Lee shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nakamura eats them both and turns towards Lee to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lee dips to his left and cracks Nakamura with an uppercut!

Nakamura moves into the clinch.
Lee tries to circle away but Nakamura has him pinned against the cage.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nakamura uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee.
Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lee fakes the leg kick and cracks Nakamura in the body.
Lee misses with a body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Nakamura. Nakamura gets slowly back to his feet.
Lee scores with a push kick.
A big right from Lee misses.
Lee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nakamura's head.
Lee lands with a thumping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nakamura slips under a jab from Lee.
Lee is looking to wear down Nakamura with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lee scoring well with a low kick there.
Andi Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nakamura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nakamura shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lee clobbers Nakamura with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nakamura shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Nakamura's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Andi Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiro Nakamura.

Lee has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Nakamura swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Lee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nakamura.
Nakamura shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hiro Nakamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Lee throws a leg kick but Nakamura moved away.
A nice combination there by Lee.
Nakamura fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lee throws a right hand that Nakamura ducks under and follows up with a left that Nakamura also avoids with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nakamura on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Nakamura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nakamura is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lee sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lee changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lee misses with a wild combination.
Nakamura is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lee is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Nakamura.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Nakamura throws a chopping leg kick but Lee manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Horrible takedown by Nakamura or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee which made him look bad.

Nakamura's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Nakamura takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Lee lands a head kick. Nakamura smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Lee comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Lee connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Nakamura tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range.
Nakamura tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nakamura shoots in but no luck this time.
Lee lands a head shot.
Lee scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Lee scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Some wild striking there from Nakamura.
Nakamura on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A left lands for Lee.
Lee swinging wildly here.

Lee gets caught napping as Nakamura dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lee holds on and takes a little breather.

And that's the end of the fight!
Andi Lee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
