Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between weirdo weirdos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nathan grogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). nathan grogan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from grogan.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
grogan misses with a takedown attempt - weirdos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

weirdos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming grogan to the mat! grogan manages to get full guard.
weirdos slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

weirdos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by grogan, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

grogan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but weirdos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

weirdos has hold of grogan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and grogan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
