PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Mot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Bunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mot comes to the cage accompanied by Be Aggresive by Faith No More. Bunn has chosen Go to Sleep - Eminem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Bunn!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mot manages to avoid it.
Bunn connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Bunn jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mot on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
An inside leg kick lands from Bunn.
Mot throws a looping overhand right but Bunn ducks down to avoid it.
Bunn looks to land a left hand but Mot moved out of range nicely.
Mot lands a right hook to the body.
Mot chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bunn.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mot throws a head kick but Bunn moves out of range.
Mot throws a series of punches but Bunn moves out of range.
Bunn scores with a nice strike.
Bunn takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mot lands a jab to the nose.
Mot blocks a jab.
Mot clobbers Bunn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mot wants to land a leg kick but Bunn is out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
That kick from Bunn tenderised Mot's leg. Mot is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mot will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

A jab lands there for Mot.
Bunn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bunn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mot is fending him off so far but Bunn persists. Nope, Mot circles away and we're back to standing.

Mot's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bunn under the eye.
Mot misses with a hook. Bunn ducked under it nicely.
Bunn looks to throw the jab but Mot is out of range.
Bunn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mot fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bunn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bunn fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mot is out of range.
Bunn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mot, right into the meat.
Mot throws a hook but Bunn avoids it easily.
Bunn plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mot lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bunn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bunn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bunn lands with a hook. Mot tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Mot throws a combination that misses

and Bunn counters with a shoot takedown. Mot fights it but they end up in guard.
Oh Mot is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bunn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bunn works over Mot with some ground and pound from guard.

Bunn postures up and lands a big shot to Mot's brow.
Bunn postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Mot covers up, he's hurt! Bunn keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Bunn and the ref steps in to end the fight! Bunn can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
