Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Primitivo Ala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Bernardino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ala's entrance music is Scar-Paparoach. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ala will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ala tries to clinch but Bernardino is having none of it.
Bernardino showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ala.
Ala wants to clinch up but Bernardino keeps it at a distance.
Ala connects with a solid leg kick.
Ala lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A head kick misses from Ala.
Ala is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ala tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bernardino jabs Ala to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bernardino lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ala will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ala is breathing heavily.
Ala pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bernardino.

Bernardino closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ala quickly recovers to half guard.

Ala kicks Bernardino off and gets back to his feet.

Bernardino throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ala tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bernardino is in Ala's guard.
Bernardino not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Let's hope that Bernardino has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bernardino wants to pass the guard but Ala is defending well.
