The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White looking to score a takedown here. Mayweathered is defending well but White drives through and ends up in Mayweathered's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
White with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mayweathered tries to strike from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White drops back looking for a leg! Mayweathered is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mayweathered manages to kick White off! White jumps back into Mayweathered's guard.
Mayweathered is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
White chips away with some ground and pound.

White drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and White jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
White distracts Mayweathered with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
This has been an exciting period of action!
White slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mayweathered takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
White staying calm.

White has an Americana. Mayweathered didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! White is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if White hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
