Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy misses with a takedown attempt - Dega sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kennedy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dega as he jumps to the side.

Bo Dega has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Kennedy.
Dega lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kennedy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Kennedy is trying to control the action in half guard but Dega is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Dega is controlling Kennedy's trapped leg to prevent Kennedy from advancing to side control.

Kennedy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dega sees it coming and defends easily.

Dega wants to improve his position but Kennedy is controlling well.

Dega is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kennedy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kennedy's back!

Kennedy breaks Dega's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dega utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dega is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Kennedy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Kennedy trying to control the position from guard on top but Dega is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kennedy throws a big elbow that misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dega wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kennedy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dega manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kennedy has Dega in his guard.

Kennedy is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Dega frees his head nicely. Oh but Kennedy has switched to an armbar! Dega is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
