Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agaton Piaskun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 14 - 5 - 2, fighting out of London, Agaton Piaskun!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards connects with a crisp jab.
A low kick from Edwards is predictable there
and Piaskun counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Aaron Edwards has been cut.
Piaskun jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Edwards is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Piaskun takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Edwards throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Piaskun closes the distance and clinches up with Edwards, looking for a takedown. Piaskun pushes Edwards against the cage but Edwards circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A nice leg kick lands there from Edwards.

You can see the frustration on Edwards's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Let's hope that Piaskun has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Piaskun remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Agaton Piaskun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Edwards throws the left hand but Piaskun avoids the punch easily.
Edwards lets loose with a powerful body kick. Piaskun will feel that in the morning.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Piaskun is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aaron Edwards.
I think Edwards has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
