The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ortega shoots in and bounces Dumas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ortega throws a strike but Dumas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ortega wants to stand and escape but Dumas is having none of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Ortega counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dumas won't be happy with that.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tito Ortega.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ortega, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
