The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeddy lands a right hook to the body.
Le Gars on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Gilles Le Gars has been cut.
Zeddy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Zeddy duly obliges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zeddy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A punch combination from Zeddy misses.
Le Gars takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Le Gars takes one to the side of the head.
Zeddy lands with a nice body punch.
Zeddy feints with a jab and clips Le Gars right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Le Gars is sent crashing into the canvas and Zeddy leaps in for the kill! Le Gars tries to get to his feet but Zeddy is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Le Gars is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zed Zeddy!
A very excited looking Zed Zeddy made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
