Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Otso Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jokinen comes to the cage accompanied by E.S. Posthumus - Unstoppable. Power has chosen Dangerous as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Otso Jokinen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokinen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Power just misses with a punch to the body.
Power fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jokinen on the side of the head.
Jokinen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Power moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jokinen lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Danny Power has been cut.
Jokinen tries to clinch but Power moves away
and Power counters with a head kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Power scores with the left hand. Jokinen knows he should have avoided that one.

Jokinen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Power gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jokinen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Power is pushing Jokinen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Jokinen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Power regains guard immediately.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Power displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jokinen throws out the jab.
Jokinen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Power sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jokinen somewhat.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Power. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Jokinen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Power.

and Jokinen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Power's guard now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Danny Power hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Jokinen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Powers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Jokinen lands a leg kick that knocks Power off balance momentarily.

Power uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jokinen.

Power lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jokinen tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Poor strikes thrown by Power there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Jokinen is looking to improve his position but Power isn't that keen on the idea.
Power breaks from Jokinen's wrist control and lands an elbow.

I think Power has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
