Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexandr Sarnavskiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miroslaw Krawy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexandr Sarnavskiy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miroslaw Krawy!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Krawy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sarnavskiy doesn't seem phased though.
Sarnavskiy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Krawy instigates a clinch.
Krawy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Sarnavskiy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Krawy walks away with a smile on his face. Sarnavskiy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sarnavskiy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Krawy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sarnavskiy can't fight it off and eventually Krawy manages to take the fight to the floor. Sarnavskiy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Krawy is looking to stand up but Sarnavskiy won't let him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Krawy cracks Sarnavskiy with a big right hand but Sarnavskiy just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Krawy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krawy wants to stand but Sarnavskiy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Miroslaw Krawy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Krawy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Krawy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sarnavskiy was covering up waiting for the punch and Krawy finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Krawy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Krawy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sarnavskiys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Well Krawy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
