Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Dylan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mister Spock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spock comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rolling Stones- 2,000 Light Years From Home kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mister Spock acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dylan misses with a left hand
and Spock counters with a left and a right that stings Dylan.
Spock connects with an inside leg kick.
Dylan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Spock.
Spock misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Spock gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dylan to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Spock tries to clinch but Dylan is having none of it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Spock creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Dylan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Spock fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Spock tries to close the distance and clinch but Dylan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Spock lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dylan backwards.

Spock looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Dylan is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Dylan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spock tries to land knees in the clinch but Dylan avoids the damage to the body.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Spock tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dylan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dylan misses with a series of wild punches.
Daniel Dylan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dylan tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dylan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Spock checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Dylan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dylan throws an elbow that misses. Spock uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dylan's guard. Nice move by Spock!

Dylan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dylan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Spock sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dylan somewhat.
Dylan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A telegraphed right hand from Dylan misses the target.
Spock fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dylan.
Spock moves out of range as Dylan strikes.
Spock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dylan circles away quickly and effectively.
Dylan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spock swivels and escapes.
Dylan lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dylan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spock manages to avoid it.

Spock gets caught napping as Dylan dives in and scores a takedown. Spock manages to retain guard.
Dylan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dylan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Spock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dylan moves away.

Daniel Dylan dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Spock throws a jab when Dylan was well out of range.
Spock moves out of range of the leg kick from Dylan.
Dylan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dylan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Spock is out of range and Dylan settles back down.
Spock swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Spock fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dylan manages to avoid it.
Spock lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Dylan tries to score with a low kick but Spock moves his leg out of the way.

Dylan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Spock's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mister Spock hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Dylan takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Dylan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Spock on the side of the head.
Spock getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Spock punishes Dylan's body with a nice straight punch.
Spock throws a shot to the body.
Mister Spock seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Dylan tries to land a leg kick but Spock saw it coming and moves away.

Spock is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dylan rather than just go for the knockout.
