Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Eubanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eubanks comes to the cage accompanied by All Summer Long - Kid Rock. Vaughn has chosen Walking Tall as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Vaughn.
Eubanks shoots for a takedown but Vaughn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Eubanks throws a one two combo.

It looks like Chris Vaughn has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Vaughn wants to control but Eubanks postures up.

Eubanks goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Vaughn rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Eubanks's guard! Nice work there by Vaughn!
Vaughn is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Eubanks is pulling down on Vaughn's head. It's preventing any offense from Vaughn, at least for the moment.
Vaughn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Eubanks is proving hard to escape from.

Nice uppercut lands for Vaughn. That snapped Eubanks's head back.

Vaughn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Vaughn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Vaughn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eubanks circles away quickly and effectively.
Eubanks takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Vaughn thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sloppy strikes from Vaughn. Those never looked like landing.

Vaughn pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Eubanks back to the cage. Vaughn follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Floyd Eubanks's cut is getting worse.
Eubanks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vaughn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fighters circle momentarily. Vaughn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Eubanks closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vaughn circles away.
Vaughn scores with a shot to the body.
Eubanks is breathing heavily.
Vaughn ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vaughn tries to bum rush Eubanks with a series of wild strikes but Eubanks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Eubanks shoots in for a takedown but Vaughn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Floyd Eubanks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eubanks takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vaughn.
Eubanks has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vaughn finds it's way round the side to connect with Eubanks's head.

Vaughn cracks Eubanks with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Eubanks on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Vaughn lands with a straight right. Eubanks didn't see that one coming.

No joy there for Vaughn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Eubanks takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Eubanks throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vaughn. Eubanks does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vaughn scores with a jab.

Jeez, Floyd Eubanks's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Vaughn throws a combination. Eubanks tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Vaughn connects with a body shot that sends Eubanks's belly button to the back.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Eubanks has his takedown stuffed
and Vaughn counters with a good low kick that Eubanks was not able to check.
Vaughn bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Eubanks's head backwards.
Vaughn lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Vaughn dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Eubanks gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Vaughn throws a jab when Eubanks was well out of range.
Vaughn thuds a left hand into Eubanks's body.
Eubanks misses the jab.
Vaughn blocks a jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vaughn, as that shot connected.

and Vaughn counters with a crisp one two that drops Eubanks! Vaughn thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Eubanks to his feet! Eubanks is in big trouble!
Eubanks looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A less than humble Chris Vaughn misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
