Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between CJ Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richards's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Three Six Mafia - It's a fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards shoots in but Jesus avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Richards looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Jesus is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Richards pulls his head out easily.
Jesus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Richards tries to pass to full mount but Jesus defends it.

Richards throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jesus's waist but Jesus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Richards off to one side.
Jesus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Richards as he jumps to the side.
Jesus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jesus wants it to stay on the feet.
Richards throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jesus's waist but Jesus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Richards off to one side.

Jesus has managed to clinch.
Richards wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jesus is looking for a triangle here but Richards uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Richards is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jesus's shoulder. That is not cool.
Jesus tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Jesus sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Richards seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Jesus wants to improve his position but Richards is controlling well.

That's time! Richards's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Jesus slaps away a takedown attempt from Richards, before circling back to the center of the mat.
No joy there for Jesus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Horrible takedown by Jesus or perhaps it was just good defense by Richards which made him look bad.
CJ Richards is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Richards gets a double leg takedown into Jesus's guard.

Jesus isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Richards stacks Jesus on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Richards!
