Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Huxi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Caster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Huxi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caster has managed to clinch.
Huxi looking to stall.
Caster manages to pull guard.
Huxi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Caster wants to get back to his feet but Huxi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Caster holds on and takes a little breather.
Caster keeping moving, preventing Huxi from controlling successfully.
Caster is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Huxi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Caster stuffs the takedown attempt from Huxi. Huxi gets slowly back to his feet.
Huxi throws a nice looking combination but Caster bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Caster closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Caster is looking to take a break and control but Huxi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Huxi has his hands clasped together around Caster's back. He's all about the action.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Huxi tries to get to full guard but Caster has control of the leg.
Huxi is trying to maintain the position but Caster is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Thomas Caster wasn't active enough on the ground.
Huxi misses with a few strikes there.
Caster darts in and clinches Huxi up against the cage.
Caster gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Huxi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Caster is working away from the top position though.
Caster wants to free his trapped foot but Huxi is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Huxi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Caster missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Huxi is positioning himself well to prevent Caster advancing to mount.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Caster is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Huxi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Huxi tries to get out of the position.
Caster wants to get back to his feet.
Caster sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Huxi defending well though.
Huxi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Caster is working away from the top position though.
Huxi is trying is best to control the position here.
Huxi looks like he's trying to stand up.
Caster tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Huxi.

Huxi pulls Caster in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Thomas Huxi.
Huxi lands a jab-cross combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Huxi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Caster.
Huxi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Thomas Caster will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Huxi throws a series of strikes that have Caster backpedaling.
Huxi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Caster defends it nicely.
Caster misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Caster throws a lazy head kick
and Huxi counters with a two punch combo.
Huxi dips to his left and cracks Caster with an uppercut!
Caster is rocked!
Thomas Huxi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huxi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Caster is still on wobbly legs! Can Huxi finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Huxi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Caster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Caster seems to have recovered his senses.
Caster shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Huxi as he avoids it easily.
Huxi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Huxi throws a head kick but Caster moves out of range.
Huxi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Huxi throws a head kick that Caster semi-blocks.
Huxi throws a front kick that sends Caster stumbling back into the cage.

Thomas Huxi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Caster.
Caster is breathing heavily.

Huxi throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Caster stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Huxi follows into mount!
Caster in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Huxi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Thomas Caster has got the better of the ground game so far.
Huxi lands a nice shot to the head.

Caster tries to hold on but Huxi postures up.
Huxi content just to control the position here.
Huxi wants to finish this one by submission but Caster is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Huxi.

Caster working to try and regain half guard.
Caster tries to lock up and control but Huxi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Huxi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Caster on the ground.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Huxi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Caster is looking to improve his position but Huxi isn't that keen on the idea.
Huxi trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Huxi connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Huxi scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Caster?
Huxi breaks from Caster's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Huxi lands a big shot to the head and Caster winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
