Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pretzel Vendor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hugh Jackman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pretzel Vendor!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackman misses with a wild combination.
Jackman throws a hook to the side of Vendor's head but Vendor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jackman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vendor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jackman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackman. Vendor does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jackman dodges the punch combination from Vendor.
Vendor takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jackman misses with a looping right.
Vendor shoots in for a takedown but Jackman shows good takedown defense.

Vendor shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vendor showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Vendor frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackman wants to hold on but Vendor pushes him away.

Jackman is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Vendor locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Jackman is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Pretzel Vendor!
After winning the bout, Pretzel Vendor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
