Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between mendle dove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Veloso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Veloso's choice of entrance music: Wild Boys - Duran Duran. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dove shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
dove can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Veloso is looking to escape.
Veloso is looking to improve his position but dove isn't that keen on the idea.

dove trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Veloso tries to reverse the position but dove maintains control.
dove pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

dove gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

dove decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

dove wants to stand and escape but instead Veloso has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
dove is trying to keep Veloso in close.
Veloso drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and dove dives on top into guard.

Veloso looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Veloso is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Veloso is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, dove has managed to free his arm - good work.

Veloso is nestled in close to dove, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
