The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas thumps Jarlsberg with a low kick.
Thomas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jarlsberg's calf.
Thomas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jarlsberg.
Jarlsberg throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Thomas clinches with his opponent.
Jarlsberg drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thomas pulls his leg out and moves away.
Thomas scores with a push kick.
Jarlsberg doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Thomas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fridtjof Jarlsberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Thomas moves into the clinch.

Thomas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thomas darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good leg kick by Thomas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sam Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Thomas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jarlsberg shoots in for a double leg but Thomas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Thomas slaps away a takedown attempt from Jarlsberg, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jarlsberg shoots in looking for a takedown but Thomas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jarlsberg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jarlsberg takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sam Thomas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
An inside leg kick lands from Thomas.
Thomas circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Jarlsberg drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Thomas follows Jarlsberg to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Sam Thomas really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that ATTICUS BLACK logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
