PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luke Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chester Molester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chester Molester!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon throws a lazy right hand but Molester sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cannon swats away the attempt to clinch by Molester.

Molester gets a clinch.
Cannon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Molester avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Molester keeps control of Cannon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Molester.
Cannon tries to pull guard but Molester won't allow it.
Cannon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Molester fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Cannon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Molester or perhaps it was just good defense by Cannon which made him look bad.

Molester lands a big head kick that sends Cannon tumbling to the mat! Molester takes a step backwards and waves Cannon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Molester is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cannon is looking to take a break and control but Molester is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cannon decides to stand back up. Cannon steps back and let's Molester get back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Molester looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cannon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The referee asks Cannon politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Cannon prefers to stall for the moment though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Molester is trying to control Cannon's posture but Cannon avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Luke Cannon will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cannon takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Cannon tries to break the clinch but Molester is controlling the position.

Chester Molester showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
