Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Elkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julez Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julez Santana!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana shoots in and bounces Elkins off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Santana controlling from the top position.
Santana wants to control from the top but Elkins keeps moving.
Elkins tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Santana content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Santana gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Santana avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Santana shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Elkins has hold of Santana's hands but Santana slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Santana wants to lay and pray for a moment but Elkins keeps working.
Elkins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santana on the ground.
Santana gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Elkins misses with a takedown attempt - Santana sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Santana gets the takedown into side control.
Santana has an Americana. Elkins didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Santana is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Santana hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
