Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gray Elbe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Stallion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juan Stallion has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Stallion. Those never looked like landing.
Elbe shoots in but no luck this time.
Stallion moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Stallion throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Elbe feints and as Stallion raises his hands in defense, Elbe changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Stallion is trying to stand up here but Elbe is controlling him well.

Elbe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stallion sees it coming and defends easily.

Elbe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Elbe drops back looking for a leg! Stallion is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stallion manages to kick Elbe off! Elbe jumps back into Stallion's guard.
Stallion is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Elbe wants to get up but he can't break Stallion's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Elbe drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Elbe jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Elbe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stallion swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stallion is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Elbe is working for a kimura but Stallion is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stallion tries to kick Elbe off but Elbe keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Elbe is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stallion defends it well.

Stallion pushes Elbe off looking to stand but Elbe dives back in and keeps control.

Elbe is trying to work for a kimura but Stallion is defending well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Elbe has an Americana. Stallion didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Elbe is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Elbe hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
