The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longtown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carvalho moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Carvalho keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Longtown scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Longtown is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carvalho trying to control but Longtown postures up.
Longtown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carvalho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Carvalho makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carvalho.

Carvalho had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Longtown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Carvalho Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Longtown's back instead.

Carvalho working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Longtown is doing well to defend. Carvalho seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Longtown is forced to tap and this one is over!
