The crowd seem to be enjoying Brit's choice of entrance music: Same in the End. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
NZonzi misses with a body punch
and Brit counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Brit shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Brit was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Brit goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, NZonzi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Brit but great work by NZonzi.

We're going to have a standup here because Steven NZonzi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

NZonzi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brit circles away quickly and effectively.

NZonzi shoots for a double leg takedown but Brit sprawls well. He's pushed NZonzi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

NZonzi tries a head kick but it misses.
Brit sizes up NZonzi with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
NZonzi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brit.
Brit shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as NZonzi sprawls well. NZonzi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brit gets slowly back to his feet.

NZonzi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brit lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and NZonzi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from NZonzi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
