Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Violent Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Joel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuri Joel will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Violent Vegas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Joel!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Vegas or perhaps it was just good defense by Joel which made him look bad.
Joel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vegas misses with a body shot.
Vegas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vegas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Joel sprawls well. Joel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vegas gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Violent Vegas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vegas shoots in for a takedown but Joel shows good takedown defense.

Vegas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vegas showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Vegas throws a strike but Joel avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Vegas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Joel on the ground.
Vegas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Vegas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Joel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vegas has managed to get both his arms back between Joel's legs - danger averted.

Joel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vegas defends it easily.

Vegas with a flurry of punches that miss.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Joel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vegas is controlling him.
Vegas scoring with some ground and pound.
Joel keeping moving, preventing Vegas from controlling successfully.
Vegas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Joel working for a triangle but Vegas defends it easily.

Joel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joel looking for a guillotine here but Vegas defends easily.
Vegas trying to control the position from guard on top but Joel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vegas chips away with some ground and pound.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vegas's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Vegas lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Vegas lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Vegas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Joel is keeping the position for now.
Joel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Joel controls Vegas momentarily but Vegas frees himself.
Vegas loads up on a big left hand. Joel felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Vegas looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Joel can't hide his disappointment, as Vegas celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Violent Vegas!
Violent Vegas spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
