Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kubiak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tim Alvarez is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kubiak ducks under a wild hook from Alvarez.
Alvarez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kubiak but Kubiak pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Alvarez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kubiak gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Alvarez has his foot on Kubiak's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kubiak works his way back into a safe position though.

Kubiak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alvarez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kubiak has managed to get both his arms back between Alvarez's legs - danger averted.

Alvarez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kubiak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kubiak slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Alvarez winds up and cracks Kubiak with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kubiak is staying active underneath Alvarez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
