The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Wilkes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Biceps on his heels. He'll look to pass Biceps's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Wilkes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Douglas Wilkes wasn't active enough on the ground.
A slapping leg kick lands for Biceps.
Djolekov Biceps is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wilkes avoids the head kick by Biceps.
Wilkes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Biceps scores with a hook.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilkes.
Djolekov Biceps has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douglas Wilkes.
Biceps fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wilkes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The fighters circle, before Biceps throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Wilkes's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Biceps lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
