Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between mr Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borgen Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stein has chosen 'Don't Believe the Hype', by Public Enemy. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, mr Benn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Borgen Stein!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stein paws at him with a jab and circles away.
mr Benn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benn wants to clinch but Stein slips to the side
and Benn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Benn fails to land the takedown.
Benn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stein but Stein pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stein's corner calls for a 1-2. Stein obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Stein. Those never looked like landing.
Stein keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for mr Benn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Benn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Benn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Benn is looking to work some ground and pound but Stein has wrist control.
Benn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stein swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Benn throws a strike but Stein rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Benn looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Stein got a little sloppy there for a moment and Benn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stein has managed to get both his arms back between Benn's legs - danger averted.
Stein looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Benn looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Benn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stein defends well.

Benn is looking to sinch up a triangle. Stein throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Benn's body to avoid the submission. Benn has instead reached around Stein's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Benn arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
