The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNamara misses with a takedown attempt - Blizovsky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McNamara avoids the head kick by Blizovsky.
Blizovsky looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
McNamara regains full guard. Nicely done.
Blizovsky trying to control the position from guard on top but McNamara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McNamara is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Blizovsky is aware though and is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McNamara is looking for a triangle but Blizovsky pushes his legs off easily.
Blizovsky drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McNamara manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Blizovsky has McNamara in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McNamara drops back looking for a leg! Blizovsky is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blizovsky manages to kick McNamara off! McNamara jumps back into Blizovsky's guard.
McNamara stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blizovsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McNamara passes easily into side control. Nice work.
McNamara in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Blizovsky is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Cobber McNamara bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
