Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Romeo Bellanca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Kidder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bellanca comes into the arena with Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Romeo Bellanca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derrick Kidder!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kidder gets caught napping as Bellanca dives in and scores a takedown. Kidder manages to retain guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bellanca trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kidder manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bellanca manages to get himself to full guard.
Bellanca is trying to keep Kidder in close.
Kidder throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bellanca works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kidder makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Kidder wants to control from the top but Bellanca keeps moving.

Bellanca is looking for a triangle but Kidder pushes his legs off easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bellanca throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Bellanca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bellanca had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kidder defends it easily.
Kidder wants to control from the top but Bellanca keeps moving.

Bellanca throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kidder escapes and throws Bellanca's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kidder works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Kidder cracks Bellanca with a big elbow.
Bellanca is trying to improve his position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kidder wants to stand but Bellanca is controlling his arm.
Kidder is chipping away with strikes.
Kidder lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bellanca down.
Kidder lands some shots froms side control.

Kidder decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bellanca to his feet.
Kidder wants to clinch.
Bellanca circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kidder moves into the clinch.

Bellanca jumps into guard, dragging Kidder to the mat.

Bellanca is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kidder is aware though and is defending well.

Kidder would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Kidder avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kidder's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Bellanca has his foot on Kidder's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kidder works his way back into a safe position though.

Kidder got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bellanca has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kidder has managed to get both his arms back between Bellanca's legs - danger averted.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Bellanca is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bellanca keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kidder's head.

Bellanca misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bellanca drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bellanca jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Romeo Bellanca dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Well Kidder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
