Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stelio Kontos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kontos comes into the arena with Stelio Kontos blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Stelio Kontos has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Stelio Kontos seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Evans - just one landing.
Evans leaves Kontos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kontos on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kontos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Evans defends it nicely.
Evans blocks a head kick by Kontos.
Evans cracks a nice hook into Kontos's ribs.
Kontos walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Evans misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Evans ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Evans lands with a nice body punch.
Kontos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kontos is breathing heavily.
Evans scores with a hook to the body. Kontos takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Kontos tries a head kick but it misses.

Kontos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Evans lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Evans throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kontos takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Evans lands a left and a right that send Kontos crashing to the mat, dazed. Evans thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kontos is rocked!
Evans lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Kontos can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Evans and Kontos drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Evans.

Marcus Evans decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
