Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cj Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Del Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer scores with a jab to the jaw.

Hammer closes the distance and pushes Del Angel back into the cage.

Hammer tightens his grip and picks Del Angel up, before dumping him to the ground. Del Angel manages to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hammer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Del Angel looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Del Angel looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Del Angel!
Del Angel tries to move to mount but Hammer blocks the move with his legs.

Del Angel takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
It looks like Del Angel might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Cj Hammer will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Del Angel closes the distance and clinches.

Hammer wants the takedown. Del Angel is fighting it off but Hammer persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Del Angel's guard against the cage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammer wants to pass the guard but Del Angel is keeping the position.
Hammer works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Hammer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
