Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Maurer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rose takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Maurer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rose.

Maurer lands a big uppercut and Rose crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rose looks OK. Maurer waves Rose back to his feet!

It looks like Lynch Rose has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maurer scores with a kick to the midsection.
Rose looks winded!
Rose is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maurer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Maurer thumps Rose with a low kick.
Lynch Rose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maurer drops Rose with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rose looks back up at him and smiles so Maurer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rose is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Maurer doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Rose crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Rose's bad books for that mishap!
