Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lemon Vodka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tykwon Dont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lemon Vodka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tykwon Dont!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dont stuffs the takedown.

Dont tries to keep at a distance but Vodka has taken the fight into the clinch.
Vodka is trying to pull guard but Dont turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Vodka gets control of Dont's arms and successfully pulls guard. Vodka will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Vodka looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Vodka manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Dont throws a head kick but Vodka moves out of range.
Vodka throws an overhand right that lands on Dont's shoulder, as Dont tries to avoid the shot.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dont can't break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dont tries to break free but Vodka pushes him back against the cage.
Dont wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dont tries to circle away but Vodka has him pinned against the cage.

Dont breaks from the clinch.
Lemon Vodka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vodka shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dont napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dont wants to get back to his feet but Vodka drags him back down.
Dont stops Vodka from passing to mount.
Dont trying to remain calm as Vodka controls from the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Vodka decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Dont scores with a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dont displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vodka.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lemon Vodka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vodka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dont manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Vodka controls from within his opponent's guard.

Vodka's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Dont wants to stand up but Vodka is controlling him.
Dont really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vodka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vodka looking to pass the guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We're going to have a standup here because Lemon Vodka wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Vodka doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Dont counters with a head kick that drops Vodka to the mat! Vodka scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Nice takedown defense from Dont. No joy for Vodka on that attempt.
Vodka is breathing heavily.
Vodka misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Vodka fails with a takedown attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Vodka gets the takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lemon Vodka will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A head kick by Dont - that's a beauty! Vodka is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Dont can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
