Johnston's entrance music is Shackler's Revenge - Guns N Roses. A fine choice. BitterSweet LuLu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston circles away from the clinch attempt
and Johnston counters with a body kick that stops LuLu in his tracks momentarily.

It looks like JJ Johnston has been cut.
Johnston blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
LuLu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Johnston counters with a head kick that drops LuLu to the mat! LuLu scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnston has LuLu pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. LuLu is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Johnston - that's hurt LuLu badly! Oh, another knee lands and LuLu is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but LuLu doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). JJ Johnston!
A less than humble JJ Johnston misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
