The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lockwood works the jab nicely.
Lockwood moves out of range of the strikes.
A lazy left from Lockwood finds it's target.
Lockwood waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gene.
Gene tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lockwood was well out of range. Poor timing from Gene.
Lockwood feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Genes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lockwood is looking to land body kicks.
Lockwood scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gene in his tracks.
Lockwood jabs Gene right on the nose. Gene blinks but takes it well.
Lockwood jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gene throws a low kick, looking for Lockwood's leg but Lockwood calmly moves out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Gene.
Gene lands a glancing blow to the side of Lockwood's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gene fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lockwood manages to avoid it.
Gene takes one to the side of the head.
Gene misses the shot to the body.
Gene gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gene misses with a straight right.
A slow jab from Gene misses its intended target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lockwood, as that shot connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gene takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gene lands a body shot.
Gene avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lockwood throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gene avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adam Lockwood is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lockwood looks to land a combination. Gene sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Gene ducks right into an uppercut from Lockwood.
Gene gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gene tries to clinch
and Lockwood counters with a good low kick that Gene was not able to check.
Gene misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lockwood scores with a sloppy right hand. Gene should have avoided that one.

Lockwood lands a big head kick that sends Gene tumbling to the mat! Lockwood takes a step backwards and waves Gene back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gene is rocked!
Levi Gene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lockwood lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Gene crumples to the floor! Lockwood milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
