The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Vargas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Gracie moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Vargas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Vargas looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Vargas connects with a jab.
Ryan Vargas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vargas fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gracie takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vargas sends Gracie crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vargas is motioning to the referee to let Gracie up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vargas throws an overhand right that drops Gracie like a sack of potatoes! Vargas dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
