The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Deng does no damage.
Beniot throws a good cross that connects.
Deng throws a looping overhand right but Beniot ducks down to avoid it.
Deng throws a body punch but Beniot moves out of range.
Beniot fails with the takedown
and Deng counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Beniot's guard now.
Beniot keeping moving, preventing Deng from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deng scoring with some ground and pound.
Beniot controls Deng momentarily but Deng frees himself.
Deng postures up and lands a big shot to Beniot's brow.
It looks like Chris Beniot has been cut.

Beniot is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Deng defends well.
