The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poutine has a takedown stuffed.
Poutine looks for a takedown but Bhaltair sprawls well.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bhaltair enables Poutine to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bhaltair manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Poutine wants to control from the top but Bhaltair keeps moving.

Bhaltair is looking for a triangle but Poutine pushes his legs off easily.

Bhaltair has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Poutine can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bhaltair is looking for a triangle here but Poutine uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
