Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacobs Shower Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simba Burns Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Burns Jr's choice of entrance music: Thuggish Ruggish Bone. Simba Burns Jr told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Shower Man does no damage.
Shower Man tries to work over Burns Jr's front leg with a kick but Burns Jr checks it.
Burns Jr misses with the body kick
and Shower Man counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Shower Man is looking to clinch.
A nice combination there by Shower Man.
Shower Man looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Burns Jr throws the kick towards the body but Shower Man avoids it.

Shower Man closes the distance and clinches up with Burns Jr, looking for a takedown. Shower Man pushes Burns Jr against the cage but Burns Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Burns Jr tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Burns Jr swings wildly with an uppercut but Shower Man uses good head movement to avoid it.

Shower Man stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Burns Jr.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jacobs Shower Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shower Man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Burns Jr pinned against the cage. Burns Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Burns Jr counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Burns Jr.
Burns Jr pushes Shower Man back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Shower Man swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Shower Man looks to land a combination but Burns Jr avoids it well.

and Burns Jr counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Burns Jr clinches up against the cage.
Burns Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Burns Jr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burns Jr uses his free foot to push down on Shower Man's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Shower Man.

Burns Jr controlling the position easily from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Burns Jr's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simba Burns Jr dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jacobs Shower Man's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
No luck for Shower Man with that takedown attempt.
Shower Man throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shower Man takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Jacobs Shower Man is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Burns Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shower Man has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Shower Man tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Burns Jr wants to clinch up but Shower Man keeps it at a distance.
Shower Man fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Burns Jr lands a left hand that snaps the head of Shower Man backwards.
Shower Man tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Burns Jr pushes Shower Man back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Burns Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Burns Jr counters with a nice leg kick.

Burns Jr scores with a hook to the body. Shower Man takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Burns Jr scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Burns Jr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Burns Jr - that will leave a mark!
Burns Jr takes the fight into the clinch.

Burns Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Burns Jr misses with a hook to the ribs.

Burns Jr connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Shower Man misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Burns Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Shower Man shoots in looking for a takedown. Burns Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Shower Man keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burns Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacobs Shower Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Crunch! Burns Jr slams his shin into Shower Man's torso.
Burns Jr scores with a head kick. Shower Man tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Burns Jr takes the fight into the clinch.

Shower Man's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Shower Man is rocked!
Burns Jr gets through Shower Man's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oh Shower Man is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice right hand lands inside from Burns Jr.
Burns Jr dips a shoulder and cracks Shower Man with a mighty uppercut! Shower Man falls back against the cage and Burns Jr unloads with a barrage of strikes! Shower Man is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Burns Jr screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simba Burns Jr!
Simba Burns Jr took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I'm not back, because I never left.. I am here and here to stay and I want that world title. I love my brother Simba Burns and the whole Burns family who helped me win this fight. And my new partners the Diaz bros thanks for the help guys.'.
