And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
AtlaSon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holmes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
AtlaSon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
AtlaSon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Holmes misses with a low kick.
Holmes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
AtlaSon cracks Holmes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Mike Holmes has been cut.
AtlaSon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

A nice inside leg kick there by Holmes. That's going to slow AtlaSon down.

AtlaSon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from AtlaSon there as he acknowledges the shot.

Holmes throws a head kick that AtlaSon semi-blocks.

AtlaSon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Holmes.
AtlaSon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Holmes feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to AtlaSon's calf.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

AtlaSon goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
AtlaSon drops his hands momentarily and Holmes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Holmes lands with a kick to the ribs.
AtlaSon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Holmes moves away.

AtlaSon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A low kick from AtlaSon misses
and Holmes counters with a left to the body.
Holmes throws a chopping leg kick but AtlaSon manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
AtlaSon avoids the head kick by Holmes.
AtlaSon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
AtlaSon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Holmes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
AtlaSon works the jab nicely.
Holmes throws a leg kick but AtlaSon sees it coming and checks it nicely.
AtlaSon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Holmes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Theo AtlaSon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Holmes.

AtlaSon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Holmes.

Holmes gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
AtlaSon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Holmes's hands.
AtlaSon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Holmes manages to avoid it.
Holmes lands with a kick to the temple. AtlaSon shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mike Holmes will probably get the nod.

and Holmes makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. AtlaSon really felt that one!
AtlaSon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Look low, kick high! Holmes uses the oldest trick in the book to send AtlaSon tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Holmes is absolutely delighted - when AtlaSon wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
