The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hendrick drives through and clinches with Samurai against the cage.

and Samurai counters with a series of strikes. Hendrick will be more careful next time no doubt.

Hendrick is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Samurai had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Hendrick is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Samurai takes an elbow to the temple.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Samurai wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hendrick has him pressed against the cage.
Hendrick is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but War Hendrick will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hendrick looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Samurai is rocked!
Hendrick circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Samurai to the canvas! Samurai doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hendrick keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
