Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kid Soplamocos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soplamocos comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger!!!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gein scores with a three punch combo!
Gein throws a series of punches but Soplamocos moves out of range.
Gein will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Soplamocos counters with a good low kick that Gein was not able to check.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gein might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Soplamocos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Geins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Soplamocos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

That was a close round but I would say that Kid Soplamocos will probably get the nod.

Gein will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
