The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loid throws a combination that misses

and Constanza counters with a takedown into side control.
Loid wants to control but Constanza postures up.
Constanza wants to control but Loid is keeping him busy.
Constanza cracks Loid with a big right hand but Loid just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Loid can't do much from the bottom here.

Loid bucks Constanza off and manages to get back to his feet!

Loid lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Constanza circles away quickly and effectively.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Loid throws a right and a left that Constanza avoids nicely.
Loid throws a right hand that Constanza ducks under and follows up with a left that Constanza also avoids with ease.
Loid moves out of range of the strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Loid enables Constanza to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Loid manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Loid utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Loid wants to stand but Constanza is controlling the position.

Constanza throws a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Loid has Constanza pulled in close to control his posture.
Loid bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Constanza's guard.
Constanza wants to get back to his feet but Loid is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Constanza uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Constanza looks to clinch
and Loid makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Loid drops Constanza with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Constanza looks back up at him and smiles so Loid waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Seven Constanza has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Constanza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loid but Loid pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Constanza is breathing heavily.
Good work by Loid as he checks the leg kick.
Loid rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Constanza moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Constanza misses with a few strikes there.
Loid misses with a hook.

A swing and a miss from Loid.
Loid throws a big shot that misses.
Loid connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Constanza misses with the combination.

Loid moves into the clinch.
Constanza has had enough of the clinch but Loid keeps him there for the moment.
Constanza tries to land knees in the clinch but Loid avoids the damage to the body.
Constanza tries to break free but Loid pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Loid pushes Constanza against the cage. Loid is working some dirty boxing. Loid pushes off with a quick right hook! Constanza goes down! Constanza tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Loid moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
